WHAT IS OBON?

Obon is a Buddhist festival where we remember our deceased ancestors. Most Buddhist churches will have Obon festivals sometime in July. To check if your local church is hosting their Obon, here is a website with some information about the other festivals. Normally, at most Obon festivals, there is games, food, and Obon Odori dances. Obon festivals are lots of fun, so go visit one near you if you get the chance!
